Who We Are
SDG-RIVER Africa (Research Initiative for Vitalizing & Empowering Rural Africa) is a Pan-African non-governmental organization committed to transforming rural livelihoods through research-driven, community-centred solutions.
We bridge science, policy and grassroots action to address critical challenges in health, environment, education, agriculture and sustainable livelihoods. SDG-RIVER Africa aligns local priorities with the global United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
SDG-RIVER Africa is focussed on evidence-based research solutions (that are aligned with the global UN-SDGs) that empower rural African communities.
